Chrysler Minivan Brake Shift Interlock
Millions of Chrysler minivans between 1992 and 2000 were sold without a brake shift interlock. The brake shift interlock is an important safety device which prevents the vehicle (with an automatic transmission) from being shifted out of "park” without first depressing the brake pedal.
The brake shift interlock has been standard in most other automakers' vehicles since the early 1990s, and this $10 safety device could have avoided many injuries and accidents. As a result of Chrysler's failure to include this safety device, injured parties have filed lawsuits against the manufacturer. If you or someone you love has been injured as a result of Chrysler’s failure to include a brake shift interlock, you may be entitled to monetary compensation.
